Sometimes, your hearing aids must be returned to the manufacturer for repair. Park Place Hearing Center will send your devices express via DHL or FedEx to ensure they are returned to you as quickly as possible.
Troubleshooting common problems at home
Sometimes the solution to the problem is quite simple.
If your hearing aids don’t turn on or power-up, check to make sure you’ve put the device fully in the “on” position and that the battery door is firmly closed.
Swap out your batteries for a new set of batteries. While the batteries are out of your hearing aids, inspect the contacts to ensure no debris is present, preventing the hearing aid battery from connecting properly.
If the sound is distorted, make sure there is no water or ear wax in the tube and that the microphone and receiver are clear of earwax. Your hearing aids may have multiple settings, and if you accidentally select the wrong one, the sound may be distorted.
